Aimhigher is the name of the
project working to widen participation in Higher Education (HE) for
young people and adults - especially 18 to 30 year olds.
We support
young people and adults who have HE potential but, for a number of
reasons, may not consider progressing to Higher Education.
These reasons may relate to cost, travel, leaving home,
self-esteem, motivation, lack of confidence, lack of family or
friends with Higher Education experience, peer-group pressure and
others.
The Aimhigher
Lincolnshire & Rutland team is working in partnership with
schools, colleges, training providers and employers to help young
people and adults make the right choices about Higher
Education. We aim to increase awareness, aspiration and
attainment in relation to educational progression.
